Why My Gmail So Slow Upload the Email With My Samsung Phone

Whenever I send a pic from my phone to gmail it seems to have about x minutes? I've tried using the smallest resolution on the pictures and it doesn't make a difference? Whatever suggestions? Cheers

Check your upload speeds using the speedtest app. Once you see how craptacular they are, you will know why it takes and then long. Most, if non all, Internet service provider'due south have much faster downloads then uploads. On my Comcast, I accept 20mb downloads with 4mb up.
On the Evo, I got 4.4mb down and ane.2mp upwardly on 4G (test towers running one-half power)

I retrieve it's something other than the slow upload speeds. Even if I have my wifi on it has been taking shut to ten minutes but for one moving picture to evidence upwards and now I've noticed that information technology also randomly says "loading conversations" on my email screen.

Ah, you lot're lucky. I sent a couple and it took 30 min. I didn't carp checking the speed. Wasn't on wi-fi, simply 3G. On the back camera and so know the file size was big.

When it fina;;y decides to send it, it gets sent at normal, quick speeds.
Why is there this annoying delay before the picture gets sent is what nosotros're asking.
